Motorists in Northern Ireland are being given the opportunity for a free tyre check to prepare for winter at dozens of depots in membership of the National Tyre Distributors Association www.ntda.co.uk all over the province. Just click on the link to find your nearest participating dealer.

The Tyre Safety initiative being organised by the Northern Ireland region of the NTDA has received the full backing of the NTDA and TyreSafe www.tyresafe.org the Industry’s leading tyre safety organisation.

Members will be sent material for display featuring the distinctive Tyre Safety logo and will be actively encouraged to display posters encouraging motorists to come into their depots for a Free Tyre Check. Material will also be available reminding motorists why they should change their tyres at 3mm and not wait until they are virtually worn out under the current tyre laws. The Region will be running a Radio campaign starting on October 13th the week preceding and the week of the campaign. This Radio campaign will be with Cool FM/Downtown, Citybeat, Q5fm,Q6fm,Q7fm,Q101fm,Q102.9fm, and Q97.2fm to give maximum coverage throughout the province.
